Did you just get a new computer with Windows Vista and are afraid to turn it on?
Are you lost in how to use it?
Don't have Vista yet, but are looking to get an early start?

We can help.

Starting May 15th, we will be offering classes in our Hibbing office. We are starting a pre-registration now. This is a one day class that will run about 2 hours. You will have a computer to learn on, but if you have your own laptop you are welcome to bring it. Wi-Fi access will be available.

How much will it cost?

The cost is $40 per person for a 2 hour class.

When are the classes?

Classes are held every Wednesday and Friday at 6 PM and Sunday at 3 PM in our Hibbing Office. For your benefit, we are keeping the class sizes small. Registration is required. If needed, we will be adding additional days.

What is covered?

The first classes will cover basic Windows Vista for Beginners.

• Getting around Windows Vista
• Making new folders – moving files
• Saving files
• Windows Mail
• Internet Explorer
• Downloading/Installing/Uninstalling programs

Class subjects will be changing. Future subjects will include:

• MS Office 2007 - Word, Excel, Publisher
• Computer Maintanence - how maintain and reinstall your computer
• Vista Tweaking - how to get the most out of your computer
• Windows Photo Gallery- how to copy, save and make changes to your photos with Windows Photo Gallery

Anybody is welcome to attend. If you have a friend or neighbor that needs some help, pass this message along.
If you belong to a church or social group and you want to arrange a special class, just talk to Stephanie and one can be arranged.
Class subjects are flexible. If you want to know how to do it, we can teach it to you.

We are starting in Hibbing, but we will be scheduling classes in other towns when available.
